<div id="job-source-10" class="job-source-10"> <div id="details-info" class="tab-pane active"> <dl><dt>Description</dt> <dd><p>This is a managerial position which supports the Water, Wastewater, Field Operations and Maintenance teams by overseeing the CMMS, Data Acquisition, Project Planning, Training and Asset Tracking Programs. This position is responsible for stocked materials, purchase requests and all other Warehouse activities. The tracking of maintenance, as well as the issuance and replacement of fleet vehicles and motorized equipment are also part of this position's responsibility. The review and recommendation of asset systems R & R projects and submittal to the Utilities Engineering Division is an additional key function. Emergency response is a role this position fills, as needed.<br/><br/><strong><em><u>*Candidates who meet the minimum requirements should expect to start at the minimum of the pay band.</u></em></strong><br/><br/><strong><em><u>**Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description.</u></em></strong></p></dd> <dt>Essential Functions</dt> <dd><p>Management of the County's Water and Wastewater Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) including ensuring acquisition, accuracy and tracking of data.<br/><br/>Manages purchase requests for warehouse procurement. Supports the other sections within the Division to assure reliable and efficient purchasing processes are used.<br/>Maintains schedules for the proper proactive maintenance and repair of water or wastewater production and support equipment.<br/><br/>Supports the Maintenance Manager and Field Operations Manager with SCADA and Security Systems for the Water and Wastewater Systems.<br/><br/>Management of all Water, Wastewater, Collections, Distribution and Warehouse Inventory and Fleet Control.<br/><br/>Prepares Asset Management evaluation reports for use in developing Capital Project for Utility Engineering and for Division and Departmental Management.<br/><br/>Supervises the Asset Management Team, including preparation of evaluations and disciplinary actions as necessary<br/><br/>Responds to emergency situation calls 24/7.<br/><br/><strong><u>Additional Duties</u></strong><strong>:</strong><br/>In the event of an emergency, all employees are considered essential personnel and may be required to perform alternate duties.</p></dd> <dt>Minimum Qualifications</dt> <dd><p>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); plus a minimum of 5years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, predictive and preventive maintenance management, CMMS program management, project planning, materials procurement and inventory control.<br/><br/>Supervisory/Management training or experience.<br/><br/><em>A comparable amount of higher education, military training or extensive experience may be considered as a substitute for the minimum qualifications.</em></p></dd> <dt>Additional Requirements</dt> <dd><p>Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.<br/><br/>Technical training certifications or licenses in one or more of the following: Electrical, Water, Wastewater or Project Management.<br/><br/>NIMS IS-00100 Introduction to the Incident Command System or be able to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.<br/><br/>NIMS IS-00700 National Incident Management System or be able to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.<br/><br/>CMMS software training certification or extensive experience (preferably in JD Edwards)<br/><br/>Safety training certifications in the areas of utility maintenance. This position is required to be up to date and aware of all of the hazards that all Environmental Services employees are exposed to, such as ? asbestos awareness, crane safety training, confined space training, eye and hearing protection, Heavy equipment safety training arc-flash, LOTO Etc.<br/><br/>In-depth knowledge and practical application experience in SCADA, security, collections, distribution, water and wastewater systems is required.<br/><br/>Must be skilled in the use of computers and software used for business, CMMS, data acquisition and asset tracking.
