<div id="job-source-8" class="job-source-8"> <span class="fas fa-question-circle" title="Help"/> Help </a> <h2 class="usajobs-joa-section__header">Duties</h2> <h3> Summary</h3> <div> <p><b>About the Position: </b>Serves as a Traffic Management Specialist and systems functional specialist in the 599th Transportation Brigade, Terminals Management Division under the Chief of Terminals Division. Assists in the day to day operations of the Terminals Management Division and also develops, maintains, staffs, and implements plans to ensure continued capability of the Brigade and its subordinate units to perform assigned mission in the Pacific Command (PACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR).</p> Learn more about this agency </a> </div> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <div id="duties"> <ul class="usajobs-list-bullets"><li>Provides technical advice, policy direction, coordination, and evaluation of all methods of transportation.</li> <li>Plans, monitors, coordinates and executes peacetime, crisis and wartime movements of DoD cargo throughout the Pacific AOR by surface transportation.</li> <li>Develops, analyzes, negotiates, and implements policies, directives, methods, practices, tests, inspects, and evaluates Command wide traffic management to ensure overall effectiveness and efficient use of transportation systems.</li> <li>Reviews transportation regulations and policies and recommends changes, corrections, or supplements when required.
