This is a confidential position and is not subject to promotion provisions of a collective bargaining agreement or memorandum of understanding.

In order to be eligible for this position you must:

  • Have successfully examined and have a current score on file for this job title with the State Civil Service Commission. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the exam posting and follow the directions provided. Link to CLERK TYPIST 1 & 2 EXAM POSTING
  • Meet Pennsylvania residency requirements
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

Work Schedule:
8:30a - 5:00p
Monday - Friday DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position you will provide clerical support to the PA Labor Relations Board. Such work will include utilizing word processing applications and spreadsheets as well as an electronic filing system. You will be responsible for typing a variety of documents including decisions,briefs and orders; proofreading materials to ensure grammatical accuracy; handling incoming and outgoing mail; andperforming other related clerical duties.
