Part-time position, hours will fluctuate from 10-20 hours per week during off-peak times and increase during pre-Election absentee voting periods.
Reporting to the General Registrar, perform professional and administrative work in directing, planning and organizing the management functions of voter registration and election administration. Processes voter registration applications; maintains the current list of registered voters; assists in preparing for elections. Performs various clerical duties to include answering telephones, maintaining records, correspondence, and processing incoming/outgoing mail. Applicant must have strong computer skills, high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to consistently provide positive public service under pressure.

Must obtain satisfactory results of a criminal history background check.
Work is normally performed in an office setting. Tasks involve the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (12-20 pounds). Requires ability to performed skills coordinated movements, perceive and discriminate sounds, visual perception and oral communication.
This is a seasonal position. Benefits are not available to seasonal employees.
